I'm glad you're here! I don't believe in coincidences, whether it's why or how we met if I already know you, or how you ended up reading this but I will tell you this: our lives will never be the same. Not from reading this blog post however!
I opened Rise with Me quietly in 2017 under a different name. I had been reading tarot cards for friends and family and also involved in coaching but now I wanted to go public. I knew the world was changing rapidly and I could feel the deep need for healing, both for myself and for others.
At the time, I lacked the self confidence to really put myself out there into the land of woo-woo. Then I realized, we're already living in the land of woo-woo! Get "vibes" from someone? Woo-woo. Have a premonition you can't explain that comes true? Woo-woo. Think of someone and they call or show up, even if you haven't seen or talked with them in years? Woo-woo. For those unfamiliar with the term woo-woo, it can be many things including a tasty drink, but I define it as spirituality, mysticism or metaphysics.
So I decided to just do the thing. You know, the thing I was afraid of: putting myself out there, similar to doing this, my very first blog post you're reading now on my site. I have always loved writing and found myself wanting to express myself and share ideas and opinions with others. Here is where I would typically say how I am afraid of other people's judgements and opinions, but I am feeling that less and less lately. People will have opinions that differ from mine, and it's OK. People may not like what I have to say, and it's OK. People may get angry with what I say....and yup, it's still OK. However if I were to not express myself I would miss out on opportunities to create connection, to inspire and be inspired and to do what it is I ultimately created Rise With Me for- to raise the consciousness and vibration of the planet.
In 2015, I could no longer ignore the signs from the universe pushing me to make some major changes in my life; not on the outside, but on the inside. I do plan to share more about that time period and the experience of anxiety in a future blog, but for now just know that I had no choice but to do something. There was a sense of urgency around my need to both heal, educate myself, and ultimately share with others. I had prophetic dreams and synchronicities leading me to the work I do now. While I know it's only the beginning, I feel my need to shift my mind set was birthed out of being brought to the precipice by intense pressure from what I was experiencing in my life and events going on all around me in the world. This was the start of me getting prepared for 2020.
We are in unprecedented times right now. This does tend to be a frequent declaration at times throughout history as we are an ever evolving species, but I think we can all agree lately the world has been thrown for a collective loop! From February of 2020 I have been in this question: is this actually a massive spiritual event we're going through? I have been hearing and picking up on a lot of information for years regarding a prophesized spiritual process called ascension. Other terms I've come across frequently to describe this time period are the great awakening, Armageddon and the apocalypse. As I am writing these right now, I just noticed they all start with the letter A, which is the start of the alphabet, and as I said before, nothing is a coincidence.
We're most definitely at the start of something massive, as all of these terms seem to convey. Ascension is rising to a higher level. Awakening is just that-becoming awake and seeing things clearly. Armageddon is not the end of the world as most movies have portrayed it, but is the final battle between good and evil. Apocalypse comes from a Greek word meaning to uncover, or to reveal.
Maybe we're at a point now where things in our world have become so convoluted and deceptive that it's time for a new truth to be revealed, for us to wake up and pay attention to that man behind the curtain we saw Toto pull back at the end of that famed and much beloved film. One of my favorite astrologers Pam Gregory predicted some of the events we're experiencing now back in 2018 when the planet Uranus entered the sign of Taurus (see linked video below). She spoke into a breakdown and a restructuring of systems in place that no longer work for the good of the people: government, schools, legal system, ect. She spoke of people in the streets, social uprising and people starting to grow their own food. The thing that I love best about her astrological predictions for this time frame was about how good this process would ultimately be, and about how it would lead better systems, technology advances, connected communities and returning power back to the people.
Whatever shift we are experiencing now on planet earth is truly unprecedented, and I don't claim to know precisely what is happening! What I do know for sure is that I have had the pleasure and opportunity to continue to work with so many of you via the magic of video chatting since December of 2019 and have been honored you have shared with me your personal journey throughout these unpredictable times. It appears the universe nudged me into this work publicly at a perfect time. In conclusion, I would like to say thank you for being here. It's going to take all of us to shift this world into a better place and we do this one by one, by healing ourselves and opening our hearts and minds. And whether we're experiencing the ascension, awakening, Armageddon or the apocalypse or all or none of the above, one fact remains the same: we are all sovereign spiritual beings having a human experience, and we create the world we live in on a daily basis. Let's create a good one for all mankind.
