Introduction to Shamanic Journeying

Shamanic journeying is a powerful visionary practice found in many indigenous and contemporary shamanic traditions. Aided by shamanic drumming, rattling, chanting, or other repetitive sounds, the journeyer enters a shamanic state of consciousness that opens the access to non-ordinary reality, with the intention of seeking healing, knowledge, problem solving, for personal transformation or to help others.

This workshop will discuss essential terminology and core shamanic methods, and will offer participants the opportunity to embark on shamanic journeys to explore other worlds and meet compassionate helping spirit teachers and power animals willing and able to assist humanity to achieve a better state of existence.
